About Us

Come share in the paradise that we found at Beka Idube. A genuine bush lovers and bird watchers paradise! This is warm, blue sky, Bushveld country, is Malaria free and in winter four degrees warmer than Johannesburg.

Sadly, time and rising costs relating to fuel and toll fees often does not allow for one to enjoy a well deserved weekend away. Beka Idube offers an ideal affordable weekend or midweek getaway to nature lovers.

Situated a stone throw away from the greater Pretoria area, Sandton, O.R.T. International Airport, East & West Rand. 20 minutes drive from the historical diamond mine village of Cullinan.

Our Irish Wolfhounds go by the prefix Harte.

We are using two bitches in our breeding program, Dahriadah Aolin and Bilkau Sunrider, nicknamed Caera. Caera is of Irish ancestry while Aolie is of Dutch origin. Our male dog is Koepel Yurico Mack nicknamed Cassidy, is also out of Irish lines.

We breed the females every second year, this means we have one litter of puppies per year. These dogs are massive but very gentle in disposition.

The Irish Wolfhounds are really couch potatoes and while they enjoy their morning walk, they are not half as active as most people believe them to be.

They are commonly known as the Gentle Giants. They have a deep bark and are quite intimidating but are in actual fact, real softies!!

  • Once again, a big thank you to Chris, Coralezet and Nathan for a wonderful weekend. Every time that we have been there we felt like part of the family. Wonderful people and a beautiful place to chill, surrounded by bush with many visits from the Impala, Wildebeest, Zebra and occasionally the duiker. Thanks again for the informative tour of the miniature horses. We will most definately be back. Wayne.S Jul 7, 2015

  • It is very peaceful at Beka Idube. You can sit back with a book and watch the animals roam past your tent. Or for the bird lovers, you can hear and see a variety around your tent. Chantelle H. Sep 4, 2014
  • What a nice weekend break away! With arrival we immediately felt welcome, we were welcomed with a smile. Everything was explained to us nicely about where to put the lights on and how to do this and how to that. Chantelle S. Nov 4, 2013 (Johannesburg)
  • If you want to just relax and cool down in your.own little splashpool this is the place to go. With amazing hosts they leave you alone to enjoy the peace and tranquility and watch the zebras, wilderbeast and buck eating outside your tent. The tents are quite luxurious with a king size bed with a shower and toilet. This is defnitely the place to get away, relax and enjoy the bush. Caron A. Nov 4, 2013 (South Africa)
